Roxanne Engel, Ph.D., serves as Chief Commercial Officer of Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery, Dermatology & MedSpa, where she oversees the strategic growth, business development, and commercial operations of the practice. With a scientific background and extensive expertise in sales, marketing, and practice management, Roxanne bridges clinical excellence with business strategy to drive innovation and elevate the patient experience.

Since joining Ocean Drive, Roxanne has played a central role in expanding the practice into a nationally recognized destination for plastic surgery, dermatology, and medical aesthetics. She works closely with the surgical and clinical teams to integrate new technologies, build patient-focused service lines, and strengthen Ocean Drive’s reputation for delivering natural, refined outcomes.

Beyond practice leadership, Roxanne is an educator and consultant in the aesthetics industry, developing training programs and business resources that support medspas and aesthetic practices across the country. Her work reflects a commitment to advancing patient safety, empowering providers, and ensuring that Ocean Drive remains at the forefront of both medicine and business in aesthetics.

Leslie Dubé grew up in Hatfield, a small town in Western Massachusetts. In 2005, she relocated to Fort Myers, Florida, to join childhood friends who had moved from New England. There she worked for an Interventional Pain Management practice for 15 years. She began in the front office and demonstrated her competence and business acumen, advancing through roles as Front Office Manager, Business Operations Manager, IT Manager, and eventually as the Practice Administrator.

Her extensive knowledge of all faucets of a medical practice made her an ideal fit for Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery, Dermatology & MedSpa when she moved to Vero Beach in 2021. With a proven track record in managing operations, collaborating with diverse medical staff, and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care, she has become a key asset to the team.

Leslie moved to Vero Beach to be close to her parents and one of her two brothers and his family. She enjoys spending time with her family including her nieces & nephews and new friends. She loves working out, going to the beach, pool and laying out in the sun. She also enjoys visits with her lifelong friends who visit her from Fort Myers often.

Melissa Laughlin is an RN, BSN with a background in pediatrics. She was primarily a NICU nurse earning her RNC-NIC (Certification in NICU nursing) in 2016. She also worked in the PICU and CICU in the 11 years she spent at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

She moved to Vero Beach in October of 2018 with her family and worked as a travel nurse for pediatric ICU’s before coming to ODPS in May of 2019. Melissa had her own experience in plastics with breast reconstruction following a breast cancer diagnosis and with that she found a passion for plastic surgery and the renewed confidence it can give patients. She loves seeing breast cancer patients on their journey to reconstruction as well as cosmetic surgical patients as they find renewed vibrance in their appearance. She was excited to find this opportunity to work at ODPS as a nurse for Dr. Durkin. She loves meeting with all his surgical patients at their pre-operative appointment and then following through with them to surgery and their post-operative care. Melissa and her family made the move to Florida after spending their entire lives in CO. One of her son’s has a heart condition that would be improved by moving to sea level. The move has made an astounding positive effect on his health by removing him and the strain on his heart from the high altitude of Colorado. He is feeling great here, so it definitely was the right choice. They chose Vero Beach because they loved the town on their many visits here seeing their best friends over the past 5 years. She is loving getting to see them on a regular basis now since they now live a mile apart! Melissa and her husband have 4 boys all of which live here except the 2nd oldest who chose to stay in CO to go to college. She also has three crazy dogs which she just adores, a black Lab, a lab/terrier mix and a Vizsla. She also has an amazing husband that she met when she was only 17! They have been married for now for 25 years! They love adventuring and spending time together and what better place to do that then the southern coast of Florida!

Mellissa and her family have been enjoying getting to know Vero and the surrounding areas. They love to boat, jet ski and just hang out at the beach! They will always be Coloradoans at heart but are more than happy to have traded the mountains and the cold for the ocean and the warm weather. Melissa and her husband as well as their best friends are all die-hard loyal Denver Broncos fans. You will find us somewhere every single week watching the game. Melissa still has her season tickets and vows to attend at least one game in person each year. There is nothing quite like Broncos fans and Mile High Stadium. Good or bad they will always bleed orange and blue! Melissa loves working with the fabulous Dr Durkin and his very talented staff as well as our amazing patients!

Keaton Benning is a multidisciplinary professional with a strong foundation in engineering, a passion for creative innovation, and a focus on developing impactful technology solutions. Keaton began their career in 2010 with studies in Nuclear Electrical Engineering, building a solid technical base that continues to inform their work.

After pivoting to Art and Visual Effects at Digital Domain, Keaton discovered a deep interest in the intersection of technology and design. This unique combination of analytical and creative skills laid the groundwork for a successful transition into software development.As the founder of an app development company, Keaton has led the creation of several innovative applications, including Nject, SemaCalc, and DermAssist. These tools are designed to support professionals in both technical and medical fields, reflecting a commitment to solving real-world problems through thoughtful, user-centered design.

For the past four years, Keaton has worked within the aesthetics industry, gaining valuable insight into its technological and clinical dimensions.
