Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery is a fully integrated aesthetic practice on the barrier island in Vero Beach: private surgical suites, an established dermatology group and a full-service medspa, all under one brand with more than two decades of patient trust. Our established, physician-led private practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board Eligible Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join our growing team. We are ideally looking for a surgeon trained in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, with dermatologic surgery and skin cancer reconstruction experience considered a strong plus.

Dr. Durkin specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast. The biggest strategic opening is body contouring; tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, liposuction, post-weight-loss (GLP-1 era) skin removal, and body lifts. A surgeon who also handles the skin-cancer reconstruction side would tie in with Ocean Drive Dermatology's on-site plastic surgery for advanced cases and its wound-closure guarantee. This position is ideal for a plastic surgeon with an interest in cosmetic body procedures, reconstructive surgery, skin cancer reconstruction, and breast reconstruction, who is looking to build a rewarding long-term career in an established private practice with a strong referral network and the resources to grow both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced plastic surgeon while developing an independent practice supported by an established referral network, modern surgical facilities, and a highly experienced clinical team.

You will not be competing with the founder for the same patients.

A built-in reconstructive pipeline. Ocean Drive Dermatology treats a high volume of skin cancer in a sun-heavy market and offers on-site plastic surgery for complex closures. That is steady, well-reimbursed surgical work that keeps your schedule full between cosmetic cases.

Infrastructure most surgeons wait a decade to build. Private on-site surgical suites, an experienced anesthesia and nursing team, injectors and aestheticians who manage the non-surgical side, an in-house marketing team, and a patient-coordinator model that handles consult follow-through so you can operate.
