One of our Southern Belles, and just a beautiful soul, this young lady and her husband joined our practice after relocating from South Carolina. One look at her preoperative photographs, and anyone can see the natural inherent beauty of her face.
As a specialist in facial aesthetics, my job is to improve natural inherent strengths of the face, or remove weaknesses of the facial aesthetic. Here, her strengths are obvious: piercing blue eyes, beautiful skin tone, elevated cheek bones, and a strong jaw line. Time, however, is relentless, and will take its toll on even a beautiful face like this.
Preoperatively, our diagnosis was one of too much skin in the lower 1/3 of the face, jowling, and moderate neck descent. She also developed just a little too much skin in her upper eyelids, and was starting to get fat projection in her lower eyelids. We designed an operation consisting of upper lid blepharoplasty with septal excision, lower lid blepharoplasty via transconjunctival approach (incision inside the eyelid), Ocean Drive Limited Incision Facelift®, and fractional laser resurfacing of her skin.
The end result is a reset of her naturally beautiful face. By subtracting out the weaknesses of time, we by proxy maximize the natural beauty of her face. This is one of our core philosophies of facial aesthetics. Our goal not to recreate you, but make you the best and ageless version of yourself while staying within the boundaries of your natural anatomy. Results shown here are at one year out.
